Astronomers detected storm activity near the North Pole of Saturn with the help of telescope images in the past year of 2018. This report publishes by researchers on 21 October.

After this, researchers had only detected two types of storms in Saturnian. One is “The Great White Spots” and another is Relatively small Storms. The Great White Sports is about 10 times larger than the small storm and last at list one month. The relatively small storm cross like 1,500 to 2,000 kilometers and some bright clouds can be seen for a few days like 5 to 10 days. But the new storm was like a middle size series of four storms. Each of the four storms was across thousands of kilometers and their lifetime was 1.5 to 2 2 weeks.

Scientists say the storm of Saturnian are made in the water cloud which is hundreds of kilometers below the visible cover cloud. Such type of storm can say that In Saturn there is an atmosphere to research and study but this type of atmosphere cannot be observable directly, says Agustin Sanchez-Lavega , a student of planetary atmospheres at the University of the Basque Country in Bilbao, Spain. Colleagues and Sanchez-Lavega research many telescope images from amateur astronomers. They also take telescope images from Hubble Space Telescope NASA and from Calar Alto Observatory situated in Spain. The latitudes of 67 degrees north and 74 degrees in the near North Pole of Saturn’s atmosphere from the Late March to Late October 2018, 4 type of bright sports detected. In the computer, simulations indicate that every midsize storm required 10 times more energy than a small storm to get be alive and need more than a hundredth time more energy to be a Great White Spot.

Georg Fisher, a planetary scientist at the Space Research Institute of the Austrian Academy of Sciences says that “Those midsize storms make more confuse than it has given a solution.”

But the telescope is not getting any image of crackled with lightning. The Great White Spots crackled with lightning several times per second. But small size storms have few flashes per minute. A radio telescopes always monitoring the Saturn for watching the lightning of the future similar midsize storms so that, scientists could indicate wheatear the midsize storm is similar to the small size storms or giant counterparts. This telescope will also help scientists to find out how the storm form.

These midsize storms of 2018 could be a failed Great White Spot. This type of storms occurs in Saturn have been observed only 6 time from 1876 to 2019. And the Great White Sports occur every 60 years or so. The last Great white Spot was happened in 1960. Some scientists say that there was a possibilist that in 2010 a failure Great White Spot was formed which energy was more than 100 midsize storms. But the NASA’s Jet propulsion laboratory in Pasadena and West Caltech determine the storm sequence formed in 2018 was not a failed Great White spot. It was a whole different thing. Saturn is still a mysterious planet because of the weather phenomena.
