New Passenger Drones Are Coming: You Should know about them
There are new generation passenger drone coming! These drone with passenger are built by some passenger Drone Company. Let’s know more!
We all know about General Motor Company (GM), the famous American car manufacturer. It makes luxury cars. Its main markets are the United States, Canada, and China.
Apart from this, Cadillac luxury cars are being supplied to 34 more markets in the world. The Cadillac is one of the best luxury cars in America. In 2019, Cadillac sold 390,456 cars in the world market. This is a record for the sale of cars of this model.
Who invented the drone, is an old question. The Cadillac Motor Car Division is a division of General Motors Company. GM unveiled the concept of a Cadillac brand passenger drone on January 12. It is a vertical takeoff and landing drone.
Simply put, it can go straight up from one place and land straight down from the top when it reaches the destination. Some say it's like a ladder escalator to climb a tall building.
However, it is not an escalator, but it is an escalator. In fact, it is a single-passenger drone. This will give the owner of the air taxi the opportunity to travel alone in the sky drone with a passenger.
Passenger drone is named eVTOL
This passenger drone is named eVTOL because it is an electric car with vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) capability.
This single-seater eVTOL passenger drone 2020 is parked next to another automatic motor vehicle made by General Motors at the 2021 CES Virtual Tech Trade Show. As part of Cadillac Halo's portfolio, the designs for its automatic bright silver and black self-driving shuttles and passenger drones were unveiled at the CES trade show.
This is the first sudden attack on the aerial mobility of its manufacturer. These two vehicles are still just an idea. This means that these have not yet become real products.
Nevertheless, it gives an idea of where the passenger Drone Company is heading in the design and product front. And in the case of electric and automatic vehicles, GM has proven that the company is interested in investing more in these technologies.
"We are building a world where advances in electric and autonomous vehicle technology are making it possible to travel privately," said Michael Simcoe, GM's global design chief, at the launch of the drone.
According to the idea of making this one-seater eVTOL drone, its four rotors will run on a 90-kilowatt-hour electric motor. It can take a passenger from the roof of his house to any other destination.
In addition, it will have the capability to establish air-to-air and air-to-ground communication. No one has to go to the airport to travel by air. It can be climbed and landed from the roof of the house.
Michael Simcoe said: ‘There are some more ideas in this company plan. This includes a two-seater luxury go. It will be made for those who want to get a little relief from the compressed air pressure to the normal air pressure. It will have a multi-sensory experience choreographed to make the trip more enjoyable. '
Of course, these ideas are designed to convey how seriously GM has taken the issue of transportation in the future. GM's concept is now centralized between electrification, automated vehicle technology, and connected car services.
According to General Motors, the company has unveiled a number of real and imagined cars at the upcoming trade show to showcase a vision for the future of transportation. The concept of two cars is shown from the prediction concept, which will explain the company's 'Halo Portfolio'.
The eVTOL is one of the two cars designed for the future. It has a 90-kilowatt battery. It can reach the roof of another building at a speed of 90 kilometers per hour or 56 miles per hour from the roof of another building.
The second futuristic concept of the GM Company is the ‘Personal Autonomous Vehicle’, which is being dubbed a ‘self-driving box on wheels. The GM Company says-- this vehicle is a lot like a mobile living room.
Anyone will like its environment. The back seat will be comfortable to sit on. Sitting on it, you can tour your entire city. The GM Company has refrained from disclosing the technical aspects of these two futuristic vehicles.
The World's First Flying Taxi Airport
The world's first airport for flying taxis and delivery drones is set to open this year in Coventry, UK. Urban Airport Air-One has been selected as the winner of the US Government's Future Flying Challenge to build the infrastructure and systems that will make the next generation of electric and automated aerial vehicles a reality by the end of this year.
And Air-One will be the hub for e-VTOL aircraft take-off and landing. Hyundai Motor Group is assisting in the development of this Air-One, as part of its own commercialization plan for 2027 aircraft of passenger drone. But still, passenger drones for sale and passenger drone prices are not available.
Air-One will be unveiled during the 2021 Coventry UK City of Culture celebrations and will continue to expand until the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
C Jim O'Boyle, a cabinet member for Coventry City Council's Jobs and Regeneration, said: "We are already a city that is helping build the future of electric vehicles.
And this is another completely new project, taking Coventry to the forefront of this new technology. It highlights in particular - how our Council is working with a number of organizations to help build a better and greener future for passenger drones."
