Facebook begins coming back online after a lengthy 6 Hours outage.

Facebook including Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger and Oculus began flickering back online late Monday, after being down about six hours and disrupting the digital lives of billions of its users.

Facebook just tweeted and confirmed that the services were slowly coming back online.

They said -

CTO of Facebook "Mike Schroepfer" said, "Facebook services coming back online now - may take some time to get to 100%.  To every small and large business, family, and individual who depends on us, I'm sorry. "

Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and other apps owned by the social network went down on Monday at around 11:40 a.m. Eastern time. The simultaneous closure of multiple applications of the world's largest social media company is considered unusual.

More than 3.5 billion people use Facebook and its apps to communicate with each other and conduct business. On the other hand, due to power outages, Facebook employees were also unable to use email, internal communication tools, and physical access to construction sites.

To the large groups of people and companies all over the world who depend on us: We are sorry. We have been working hard to restore access to our apps and services and are happy to report that they are now back online. Thank you for your tolerance.
