But this time China is making an artificial moon to reduce the difference between day and night. What a surprise! There will be no new moon in the sky of China. China will always float in the light of the full moon.

According to a report in the state-run People's Daily, officials at a private aerospace company say they want to put it into Earth orbit by 2020.

It has taken such ambitious steps to reduce the pressure on electricity and reduce the darkness of the night. Yu Chunfeng, head of the Tianfu New District System Science Research Institute in Chengdu, the capital of China's southwestern Sichuan Province, told ABC News that China will build three artificial moons by 2020.

According to their plan, the artificial moon will be sent to three spaces in 2022. He added that the installation of artificial moons would save about  250 million in electricity every year.

The moons will be basically like satellites. They will have big mirrors on them. With these mirrors, the light of the sun will reflect eight times more than the moon and will return to the earth's chest.

The sunlight reflected from the mirror will illuminate an area of ​​about 3600-6400. The moon orbits the earth from a distance of 360,000 kilometers. And Chinese astronomers say the artificial moons will be placed in orbit just 500 kilometers from Earth. However, it is not yet clear how it will be placed in any orbit.

Not only energy saving, artificial moon can be used to provide artificial light in the areas where power is cut off due to natural calamities. This artificial moon will also play a very important role in various emergency rescue operations at night. The light will be so intense that no extra lights will have to be placed for the night.
 
With the success of the launch of the artificial moon, the University of Glasgow Space Systems Engineering teacher. Matteo Siriotti says it is possible to place an artificial moon. He added that in order to fulfill the purpose for which it would be sent into space, the artificial moon would have to be permanently in the sky of Chengdu. But finding that particular place in this vast space is not at all easy.

The only problem is that you have to put it in the right place to get 100% fruit. If it is a little sideways, then that light will go to another area. ”

Everything has its pros and cons. This was not the case with the artificial moon. Many have called it a joke. Scientists believe that the artificial moon can cause a difference in the day and night and disrupt the life cycle of the earth.

Again, many say, this will confuse nocturnal or nocturnal animals. Light pollution has occurred in many cities in China. The installation of this artificial moon will make it more intense. Dr. Siriotti himself has admitted that. He thinks, “If the light is too bright, it will ruin the naturalness of the night. This can damage the animals.
In addition to Chunfeng, Kang Weimin, director of the Harbin Institute of Technology, told the People's Daily that artificial moonlight would be much like evening light. So there will be no negative impact on the fauna. However, Chunfeng said some more experiments are needed to ensure that the work is completed successfully and that it has no adverse effects on nature. "We will run our experiments in an uninhabited desert," he said. So that the artificial moonlight cannot harm people or anything else. ”

This is not the first time China has had such an ambitious space project. According to the US-based New York Times, Russia had previously undertaken a similar project in 1990 to reflect sunlight into several cities in northern Russia that did not receive daylight.

 That's why they installed special mirrors that are able to reflect sunlight. But later the mirror loses its performance due to the influence of the atmosphere. As a result, the project was canceled. Moreover, according to scientists, this project would harm the ecosystem.

In January 2016, the US 'Rocket Lab' placed an artificial star in the sky. But scientists have criticized the man-made star for polluting light and complicating Earth's orbit.

However, scientist Chunfeng dismissed all such controversy over the installation of an artificial moon in China, saying that since the entire project was man-made, humans would have the power to control it completely. And these moons will look like bright stars from the earth.
